How to measure for a motor cover

CoversDirect® offers universal covers for outboard motors. The cover is secured with a draw rope which is sewn throughout its hem. We offer three different materials: 7.6oz Sun-Dura®, 9.25 oz Sunbrella® / Outdura® acrylic, and Mossy Oak® Camo. Start by choosing your motor's size below. You can then choose your color for the material you want and add to cart.

Poly-Flex II

Economically-priced 5.3 oz. 100% Solution-Dyed Marine Polyester with polyurethane finish coating. 300 Denier x 300 Denier. Poly-Flex II colors are part of the polyester fiber itself so the color goes completely through the fiber instead of being just on the surface. Lightweight and strong. Good resistance to tearing, fading and rot. Good sun blockage. Durable water repellency, UV and mildew resistant finish. Breathable to help allow interior moisture to escape. Sun-DURA®

Excellent Water-Repellency

Sun-DURA® is a 100% marine grade polyester fabric with a 100% polyurethane finish coating (600 denier). This material was specifically developed to provide superior water repellency and UV resistance, and it is a Carver Industries exclusive. Sun-Dura® is our most popular boat cover material, and because it is so water repellent, it makes a great choice for areas which receive a lot of rain. It is also a solution dyed material, which means that its dye is inherent to the cover's fibers, causing it to be exceptionally fade resistant. Sun-DURA® weighs 7.6 oz per yard, and has a 7 year warranty.

Solution Dyed Marine Acrylic

Sunbrella® / Outdura® Fabric

Premium 100% Solution Dyed Marine Acrylic 9.25 oz. Fabric utilizing either Sunbrella® or Outdura®. Both fabric brands are considered to be industry leading solutions for the marine industry with competitive quality, performance and value. Both are highly UV and mildew resistant, providing excellent resistance to fading and rot, excellent (top of the line) sun blockage, breathability, and water repellency. We reserve the right to provide either fabric due to Covid related fabric outages. (10 Year Limited Warranty on Sunbrella® and Outdura®)

100% Marine Polyester. 600 Denier x 600 Denier. 6.8 oz. Strong and durable. Highest tear strength available. Excellent UV and mildew resistance. Excellent resistance to fading and rot. Extremely water repellent. Excellent sun blockage. Breathable to help allow interior moisture to escape. Durable Water Repellency (DWR). 3 Year Limited Warranty. Available in Mossy Oak® Break-Up Country and Mossy Oak® Shadow Grass Blades.
