Select the best material for YOU
We offer three durable materials:
- The Shelter-Rite Vinyl cover (link) provides excellent tear, UV, mold and mildew resistance. 18 oz. with heat sealed welded seams make this one of the most durable choices available for a replacement canopy. It includes a flat matte and smooth finish. The covers available are white, tan, gray, burgundy, red, yellow, green and blue.
- WeatherMax is the most popular material choice (link). It is known for its long term color retention. Weathermax features superior water resistance and durability. Breathable, mold and mildew resistant, WeatherMax outperforms acrylic brand materials and solution dyed polyesters in color retention and abrasion resistance. It is lightweight at only 8 oz. per yard. The seams are heat welded for added strength. It is available in sandstone, black, light charcoal, slate linen, taupe, burgundy, scarlet red, yellow, forest green, captain navy, pacific blue and sapphire tweed.
- SeaMark (link) is the ultimate replacement canopy. It is a combination of Sunbrella acrylic and Hartz vinyl. SeaMark is a rich, colorfast, waterproof fabric that will withstand the harshest environmental conditions. It is 15 oz. per yard with excellent fade resistance. It is available in the linen tweed, cadet gray, dubonnet tweed, forest green, hemlock tweed and Mediterranean blue tweed.
Let’s take a quick look at a picture of 3 samples to better illustrate the differences in these available material choices.
The Shelter-Rite is visibly vinyl but has a matte finish and a shine underneath. It will add a pop of vibrancy to your lift. The WeatherMax is a woven material that is visibly the same on both sides. Last but not least, you have the SeaMark which is woven with an acrylic backing, making it differ in color on each side.
Let’s not forget the fact that each of these canopies ship for free in the contiguous US and come with a 5 year manufacturer warranty. Do you want a sample before you make your purchase? We will be happy to send you one. We know that it is important to select the right materials for your investments. We know that once you have installed your new canopy, you will be thrilled with your purchase.
