Well, you started with Boat Covers Direct\u00ae, so you\u2019re already on the right track!<\/h2><\/p>\n

The first thing you need to decide is exactly what piece(s) you want to replace. Do you only need a new console or fishing chair? Or do you need to replace the entire front or rear portion? Maybe you want something brand new and you\u2019re going to just rip it all out and start over? Whatever you decide, we are here to walk you through it and make it as painless as possible!<\/p>\n

Once you\u2019ve decided what material and colors work best for your pontoon, we\u2019re off to replacing the necessary pieces.<\/h2><\/p>\n

Individual:<\/em><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re only replacing individual pieces, simply measure your existing seat (or what have you) and decide if you want the same size or something larger\/smaller. Not sure which color to go with? Just contact our office and request swatches of the fabrics that may look the closest so you can pair it with your existing design\/color.<\/p>\n

Front or Rear:<\/em><\/p>\n

Replacing the front or rear portion of your deck? Use the schematic below to ensure you measure properly so the seats do not interfere with your gates and sit comfortably in between your rails.<\/p>\n

Seat Measurement Guide <\/a><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re replacing the rear group:<\/em><\/p>\n

Start with measuring \u201cA\u201d \u2013 which is the distance between the rails from Port to Starboard side. You\u2019ll find that most pontoons will measure about 89\u201d-93\u201d, but don\u2019t forget to include that 1\u201d extra inch for allowing the foam to slightly hang over the bases.<\/p>\n

Then, measure \u201cB\u201d according to the diagram, which is the distance between the side gate and rear rail.<\/p>\n

Finally, are your corners (\u201cD)\u201d, round or square?<\/p>\n

With both of these measurements, you will know exactly how much room you have to work with.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re replacing the front group:<\/em><\/p>\n

You\u2019ll measure the distance between the side gate and front rail to get measurement \u201cC\u201d. It may be a good idea to check the length from the front gate to the side rail as well, just to ensure all of your pieces will fit perfectly.<\/p>\n

Entire Group:<\/em><\/p>\n

Forget it, just replace the entire set with an all new group! This way, your pontoon has a whole new, eye-catching look and you won\u2019t have to worry yourself with replacing different pieces of your furniture every year. There are tons of options to choose from \u2013 complete fishing, traditional, and wrap around groups, or create your own.<\/p>\n
