These warranties are in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied.
The materials and workmanship are guaranteed to be free from defects at the time of manufacture. The warranty does not cover normal wear, weather soiling, or stains from environmental pollution. The product must be properly secured, maintained, and utilized for the purpose for which it was intended.
If there is a defect, CoversDirect® will repair or replace (at its discretion) the product FREE of CHARGE provided the customer prepays freight to and from our factory.
CoversDirect® will reimburse freight on merchandise returned within 30 days that was shipped to you in error or defective upon arrival.
Westland products are warrantied, to the original purchaser, to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the periods listed below.
To prolong the life of and to protect your Westland cover, it is important not to allow water, snow, or ice to pool. To prevent damage from pooled water from occurring, it is highly recommended that a boat cover support pole be used to raise the center of your cover. Always use a tie down kit when trailering your boat cover.
Any Westland Industries cover proven defective will be repaired on a labors/materials basis or replaced on a prorated schedule dependent upon cover fabric (shown below) based on the retail price of the cover.
Not covered under warranty is damage caused by misuse, accident, neglect, improper installation or maintenance. Warranty is void if your product is contaminated with tree sap, improper chemicals, bleach, gasoline, oils, and other liquids not defined to be part of the normal cleaning procedure.
Additional items not covered include damage as a result of animals such as rodents, birds, pets, insects, etc. Product is also not covered if any damage is incurred as a result of coming into contact with sharp objects that would result in punctures or tears. Exposure to pollutants may also void warranty. Do not allow water, snow, or ice to pool on product as this will degrade the cover's water repellency and potentially cause mildew or premature leakage. Damage for pooled water may not be covered under this warranty.
Shoretex Fabrics guarantees that all products will be made with quality materials and workmanship and free from defects upon arrival. If during the lifetime of Shoretex Fabric's limited warranty the cover begins to experience failure at the seams or unusual wear, the factory will repair or replace the product provided the customer pre-pays freight to and from the factory.
WeatherMax Boat Covers carry a 5 year warranty from the original date of purchase. The warranty covers both the material and construction of the product.
Prism Boat Covers carry a 5 year warranty from the original date of purchase. The warranty covers both the material and construction of the product.
TravelTuff Boat Covers carry a 5 year warranty from the original date of purchase. The warranty covers both the material and construction of the product.
Normal use, weathering and stains caused by environmental pollution are not covered under this limited warranty. Shoretex Fabrics warranty does not cover damage to the boat or cover which is caused by neglect, improper boat protection or acts of nature. This limited warranty applies to the cover's material and workmanship only.
Covertuff Replacement Boatlift Canopy Covers made from Shoretex materials are warrantied to the original purchaser, when utilized as a boatlift canopy and properly installed. They are warrantied to remain in good visual condition and maintain proper function for a minimum period of five years, without failure due to excessive fading or separation, subject to the following terms, provisions and conditions.
Covertuff's obligation under this warranty is limited to, at Covertuff's sole discretion, the repair or replacement of a product found on examination to be defective under normal use and service. Ordinarily Covertuff will repair the cover if such repair will allow the cover to return to functional use. If deemed necessary, canopies within the first two years after the date of manufacturer will be replaced without cost other than transportation expense. Should Covertuff Fabric choose to replace a canopy following the second year after the date of manufacture, Covertuff may charge the following costs: a) during the third year following date of manufacture, Covertuff may supply a replacement canopy at the then prevailing price, less a rebate of 60% of said price; b) during the fourth year following the date of manufacture, Covertuff may supply a replacement canopy at the then prevailing price, less a rebate of 40% of said price; c) during the fifth year following date of manufacture, Covertuff will supply a replacement canopy at the then prevailing price, less a rebate of 20% of said price. No rebate or replacement will be made on a warranty claim after the fifth year following the date of shipment.
This warranty will only cover canopies that have been properly installed on and seasonally removed from the boatlift frame. A canopy will not be deemed defective as a result of damage attributed to improper installation of the canopy cover, distortion of the frame upon which the canopy cover is mounted, a failure to seasonally remove and maintain the canopy, misuse, abuse, neglect, negligence, chemically induced degradation, fireworks, accidents or acts of God, including but not limited to excessive wind. Canopy fabrics will naturally fade and deteriorate over time with exposure to the sun, wind and other elements. A canopy will not be deemed to be defective as a result of normal wear and tear based on the conditions to which the canopy cover is exposed. Minor pinholes are to be expected, and will not be deemed a defect. Fading and deterioration of materials will be deemed a defect only if the fading or deterioration is in excess of industry accepted tolerances. Discoloration as a result of environmental pollution, cleaning or other chemicals, or a failure to properly clean, dry and store the canopy cover is not covered under this warranty.
This warranty is limited to Covertuff replacement boatlift canopies and is not transferable or assignable. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide purchase documentation showing the date of purchase, purchase price and seller.
TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM: Contact Shoretex Fabric for a Return Authorization number (RGA). Canopies will not be accepted without an authorized RGA. Next, return the cover to Shoretex Fabric, 1010 Weyrens Rd, Fergus Falls, MN. 56537. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay for shipping expenses.
The limited warranty set forth herein is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. In no event shall Shoretex Fabric be liable for damage to a boat, the boatlift or any other incidental or consequential damages. The total liability of Shoretex Fabric shall be limited to the purchase price of the particular product regardless of whether damages are sought based on breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict liability, tort or any other legal theory.
Wise Pontoon Seats are warrantied through the manufacturer, Wise, for 3 years on upholstery and 6 years on the frame itself. Wise will repair or replace from its factory, at its discretion any parts which have failed or excessively worn which are covered under warranty. Warranties are voided is the equipment is altered, abused, neglected, installed in a matter which would subject it to abnormal use, or used commercially.

We want you to have a quality product that suits your needs. Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may exchange your non-custom or non-special order product for another, provided that your product is still in first quality condition. Your replacement will be shipped after we receive and inspect your returned product. If you need your replacement immediately, you may consider placing a new order. A Return Goods Authorization Number will be issued so that you may return your product.
Please take extra care when trying your boat cover on for the first time! Should you need to return the boat cover, it MUST be in its original, new condition. The cover must be clean and free of debris (including pet hair). Soiled, wet, mildewed, torn or otherwise mishandled covers cannot be accepted for exchange or credit.
All special orders and Sunbrella custom boat covers are non-refundable (except for warranty issues). If for some reason there is a problem with the quality of your special order or Sunbrella boat cover, every effort will be made to modify your product to suit your needs.
CoversDirect® cannot accept any packages freight collect or COD. All packages must be shipped prepaid. Returns must be inspected before final decisions are made on credits.
