Bimini tops come with either nylon or stainless steel fittings.

The type of fittings needed will depend on the environment where the top is used and stored. If you are using your top around a lot of saltwater, we do recommend stainless steel as it will hold up much better. However, both fittings do offer the same warranty period which depends on the material you order (5-10 years).

Boat tops are offered in a variety of materials.

For our Carver Bimini tops, Sun-DURA and Sunbrella/Outdura are available. Sun-DURA is a very good all around material for a top. Sunbrella is the best material offered for blocking the sun's rays completely. Sunbrella is the most popular material choice as it has been considered the best material in the marine industry for many years.
