We had hundreds of people enter this Giveaway within a few days, so it’s always tough to have to pick a single winner and know that there are going to be a lot of disappointed boat lovers out there.
We’d like to congratulate the giveaway winner, Danielle Sandhagen! Danielle and her husband Greg just bought the beautiful 2012 Edgewater 240IS pictured in this post one week before the giveaway and weren’t sure what they were going to do to protect it. In the meantime, Danielle says her husband had purchased a 30′ x 40′ tarp, but it was so heavy, he could barely get it on.
Ugh! For those of you currently covering your boat (that probably costed tens of thousands of dollars) with a tarp, you gotta do the math and know that you’re going to lose a lot of money when the condition of your boat deteriorates or the tarp causes mold and mildew problems due to its lack of breathability (not to mention what will happen to your tarp during a good storm).
We’re just glad to know that Danielle, her husband and Reese (their 3 year old Golden Retriever) are not going to have to watch the surface of their beautiful Edgewater 240IS deteriorate when they’re not inshore or offshore fishing down in sunny Florida!
