History of the Moomba

In 1990, watersports enthusiasts were thrilled to find a new player on the market. Created as a mass market inboard boat with an attractive price point for water skiing enthusiasts, the Moomba Boomerang quickly became a popular tow boat for American water sports tournaments. By 1995, the original manufacturer, Supra Sports, was out of the picture and a group of former MasterCraft executives from United Marine was managing the popular brand. The next release was the Moomba Outback, which was introduced in 1997. Moomba still makes the Outback today, and its one of just a few AWSA certified three-event tow-boats also meeting NMMA safety certification requirements.

Today, the group from United Marine has changed the name to Skier's Choice, Inc., and the company continues to manufacture popular Moombas. With models ranging from the always popular Outback V to the Mobius LSV, Moomba boats have set the standard for water skiing and wakeboarding tow boats.

While Moomba makes a high-value boat, it's important to protect it when it's not in the water. BoatCoversDirect provides covers made to fit your Moomba. The covers are made from the material of your choice and come in multiple colors. Find your custom-fit Moomba boat cover today.
