Excellent Water-Repellency

Sun-DURA® is a 100% marine grade polyester fabric with a 100% polyurethane finish coating (600 denier). This material was specifically developed to provide superior water repellency and UV resistance, and it is a Carver Industries exclusive. Sun-Dura® is our most popular boat cover material, and because it is so water repellent, it makes a great choice for areas which receive a lot of rain. It is also a solution dyed material, which means that its dye is inherent to the cover's fibers, causing it to be exceptionally fade resistant. Sun-DURA® weighs 7.6 oz per yard, and has a 7 year warranty.

Styled-to-Fit® Boat Cover

  • Include bow pulpit and engine bracket (if applicable) in centerline to determine correct size cover. For dual engines, order next larger size (unless otherwise stated). Cover comes with reinforcement kit, heavy-duty tie down kit, rope ratchet and two support poles. Cover is intended for storage only.

Each Carver Cover Features:

  • Two Support Poles

    Included with your purchase are two support poles. These poles should be spaced equally into your rod holders. These poles are designed specifically to keep weight and pressure off of the antennas and other equipment.

  • VHF antennas, Collapsible Light Poles, and Antenna Slot

    If VHF antennas or collapsible light poles are mounted on your hard top or t-top, fold them down to the rear before applying your boat cover. As you put the cover on, roll the cover between the antennas. After you spread the cover over the support poles, locate and open the slot which will allow your antenna to exit.

  • Zippers

    Each cover has a dual zippered entry on both the port and starboard sides of the boat. During installation, make sure the zippers are closed (you’ll have a much easier time).

  • Rope Ratchet

    Each hard top or t-top boat cover comes with a rope ratchet. This ratchet is used for tightening the draw rope that is in the hem of the cover in order to make the cover secure.

  • Reinforcement/Repair Kit

    A reinforcement kit is included with every hard top or t-top boat cover purchase for added protection at sharp areas and stress points. Simply cut the material to size, peel the backing off, and stick it on the inside of the cover wherever you need extra reinforcement.

  • Heavy-Duty Tie Down Straps

    Tie down straps make storage easier, allowing you to secure your boat cover. Included are 12 black straps with quick release buckles.

Most Styled-to-Fit® covers have a shock cord (shock cord is like elastic, only much, much stronger) in the hem to provide a snug fit, but some will be made with a draw rope. In addition, if your boat has an outboard motor, the cover will have an allowance for it, whether an attached pocket, separate pocket, or simply incorporated into the boat cover. Our Styled-to-Fit® Covers come with a guarantee of fit and satisfaction, as do all of our products!
